You are staying in a historical monument which dates from 1801 at the Brink at de Eerste Laan 1 in Norg. This typical Dutch ‘Saksische Boerderij’ (Saxon Farm) has an orchard, a playground for kids with a trampoline and a table tennis table. There is also a roofed terrace in the hay barn with a small playground for kids and in the garden you will find a wood fired hot tub.

Holiday home “De Opkamer” is the front part of the farmhouse. It has a living/ dining room with small kitchenette plus two bedrooms with comfortable box spring beds and en suite bathrooms on ground level.

Holiday home “De Schuur” is situated in the old barn of the farmhouse. It has 3 bedrooms for 8 guests. More guests are welcome. Please get in touch for more information.

Both holiday homes have their own entrance, terrace, bathrooms and toilets.

Wellness

If you like, you can use the Finnish sauna and the wood fired hot tub. The cost for the hot tub is 65 euros for the first use of wood and cleaning service. After that it’s 15 euros per day. Guests will have to heat up the water themselves. This takes at least three to four hours.

Environment

Come visit us for a relaxing holiday and enjoy the history of Norg with its beautiful agricultural and idyllic “Essen” landscape. The environment of Norg is perfect for long walks [ATB] or bicycle tours.

The city center of Norg is close by and offers a variety of shops, restaurants and supermarkets.

You can even do a city trip. The towns of Assen (15 km) and Groningen (20 km) are not far and easily accessible by bus [nr 83]. Bus stops are in front of the house.

The town of Assen is well known for its TT Circuit which hosts events such as the British Superbikes and the Dutch TT. Bikers are welcome! Your motorbikes can be safely stalled at our property.
